What We Promise

• We promise to raise our animals in a kind and natural way.
• We will never cage or harm our animals. We will always treat them with respect.
• We will only use local small and independent abattoirs, and transport our animals personally.
• We will never inject water into our meat to push the weight up. We will not use protein fixing powders to hold the extra added water in.
• Our sausages and burgers will only contain prime cuts and the finest seasoning.

Welfare Standards

Our pigs live outside on grass, and have access to pig arcs for shelter. The arcs face away from prevailing winds and have a bed of fresh straw which we grow and harvest ourselves.

Our goslings and turkeys are fed on non GM feed. As soon as they are old enough they will be transferred from their brooder box to their very own field. They will eat grass and our own produced wheat.

All of our animals are kept free range. The pigs, sheep, cows, turkeys and the geese are all kept outside on lush green grass. They are free to roam and are able to display natural behaviour.

We are regularly inspected by DEFRA and exceed their exacting guidelines.

We are proud to rear these animals and have a genuine affection for them. The pigs are friendly, sociable and affectionate animals, who enjoy company. They are a joy to look after and always keep us on our toes.
